Technical Assistance with the FEMA Public Assistance Program

Landfall Strategies' staff has assisted hundreds of FEMA Public Assistance (PA) Grant Program recipients maximize their federal disaster response and recovery cost reimbursements. From the Kickoff Meeting and Project Worksheet preparation to Final Inspection and Project Closeout, we guide clients through the FEMA PA process and assist with FEMA and State coordination to ensure that reimbursements of disaster recovery expenditures are expedited and maximized while the need for appeals is minimized. We manage all elements of the Public Assistance Grant Program on behalf of our clients so that they can focus on day-to-day tasks of running their respective departments and returning to pre-event normalcy as soon as possible.

Our consultants manage the entire process, including the preparation of small and large FEMA Project Worksheets (PW) for contract or force account labor, equipment and material expenditures for all categories of work. We are also experienced with financial reimbursement procedures and mange the Quarterly Report, Request for Reimbursement, Summary of Documentation and Final Inspection process. We also strive to identify funding sources other than FEMA to ensure that all opportunities to recover disaster expenditures are optimized.

FEMA allows for the reimbursement of costs incurred for professional PA project management and administration. We ensure that all costs for our services which are eligible for FEMA reimbursement are identified, documented and submitted to FEMA for reimbursement.
